A superb hand painted miniature in its original case, American circa 1920.

Painted on ivory, image of a young man.

Signed lower right corner, L. Weiss.

Gilt brass frame, bevelled glass.

The miniature measures 11,5 cm x 9 cm. Height with hook is 13,2 cm.

The case measures 13 cm x 16,5 cm, when opened it is 26,6 cm x 16,8 cm.

Total weight is 385 grams.

Overall in a good and original condition, the outside of the case and the cloth hinge has some damages.
